Modern Warfare 3 Review

Modern Warefare 3 Game Review,
If you haven’t spent every morning since November 8, 2011 defending America from the invading Russian Army or staying up late and grinding out death matches online with your friends then there’s a chance you haven’t made the right game purchases this holiday season. From game developers Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is definitely the must have first person shooter for the end of the year and whether you are playing on your PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 it is a game to keep you gripped.

I’ve spent countless hours running through the new campaign; finishing out the story of the previous two Modern Warfare titles is well worth the buy alone. Take on the role of Yuri and gun alongside Captain John Price and Russian informant “Nicolai” as they evacuate a dying Captain John “Soap” MacTavish after their previous run in with traitor General Shepard and settle the score with the leader of an ultranationalist terrorist cell, Vladimir Makarov.

There is a variety of missions including epic downtown New York gun battles, submarine take overs, stealthy infiltration missions or levels that require fast moving precision this game captures explosive and mind jarring situations to put you on edge and keep you in your seat.

However, online play is where this game shines the brightest so if playing against gamers around the world is a little more your speed then strap into a fresh pair of Depends, sign on and load out because you won’t be going anywhere for a while. The online experience is a never ending, palm sweating good time and with Jonah Hill and Sam Worthington leading the serious game with comedic relief it’s impossible to take your eyes off the screen. All of the original game types are there including a few new gems thought up by the developers to make you think and play outside of your gaming style. A vast amount of weapon and perk upgrades as well as chances at prestigious titles gives gamers a little something extra to work towards.

Multiplayer also includes Spec Ops which challenges players to cooperate with one another and race the clock to beat missions in a timely and precise manner or fight wave upon wave of enemies on an enclosed map and simultaneously upgrading weapons and collecting points. No matter your preference this first person shooter has what you’re looking for.
